<·· We leave Potosí at 6:00am. On the way we visit El Pueblo de Chaquilla. Arrival at Colchani, where we visit a factory which processes iodized salt.
After this we have a transfer to the majestic Salar de Uyuni where we visit the source of the salt: Palacio de Sal Golf and Spa, one of the most unique in the world (one among the 28 most unusual places of the world and the top 10 of travel and tourism), extraction places of the salt, until the arrival at the Isla Pescado where a rural lunch is served.
Return to Potosí.

STAY OVERNIGHT AT THE SALAR
2 DAYS - 1 NIGHT Day 1
We leave Potosi at 10:00am. On the way we visit the villages Chaquilla and Tika Tika. When we arrive in Colchani we visit a salt treatment factory.
Transfer to Hotel Jardines in Uyuni. After dinner we make a trip through the Salar and the outskirts of the hotel. The sky at this latitude is considered as one of the most cleanest in the world.
Day 2
American breakfast.
At sunrise visit the Gran Salar, we visit the Ojos de Agua, where we see methods for extraction of the salt. We cross the Salar to the Isla Pescado, where a rural lunch is served and we see also the famous Giant Cactus.
(Return to Potosí.)
Optional: accommodation in the train to go to La Paz or Villazon.

SALAR DE UYUNI AND ISLA PESCADO (FROM LA PAZ BY TRAIN AND BUS, DEPARTURES MONDAYS AND FRIDAYS)
3 DAYS - 2 NIGHTS
Day1
Departure by bus to Oruro, from where we leave by train to Uyuni.
In Uyuni we have a transfer to the hotel.
Day 2
(Breakfast)
We visit the Isla Inca Huasi, formaly known as the Isla Pescado, because of its form. On the Isla Pescado you have an unforgettable view on the white expanse of the Salar de Uyuni. The island is full of caves and giant cacti and the rocks on the island are covered in fossilized algae.
We return to Uyuni where we visit the sources of salt, Colchani, the place where they cut and extract salt in blocks and the fabric that processes the iodized salt.
Later on we have a transfer to the railway station and return to La Paz.
Day 3
Arrival in La Paz at 11:30.
