GENERAL INFORMATION
Santa Cruz has grown very quikly over the last 50 years. Santa Cruz de la Sierra offers a range of contrasts with her wide avenues and covered or elevated sidewalks of the colonial time.
Founded the 26th of February of 1561 by the Spanish conquistador Ñuflo de Chávez. The inhabitants of Santa Cruz, also known as “Cambas” are friendly and open and they feel a deep love for their country.
Because Brazil is so nearby, the carnival of Santa Cruz is similar in extravagance of luxury and beautiful women as in Rio de Janeiro.
